§ 32. Mr. Beithasked the Minister for the Arts what assessment he has made of the likely impact on arts expenditure in rural areas in Northumberland of the new arrangements in connection with the replacement of arts funding within Tyne and Wear previously provided by Tyne and Wear county council.
§ Mr. LuceA satisfactory settlement has been reached with the successor authorities in Tyne and Wear, and no Arts Council or Regional Arts Association funds will be diverted from rural to urban areas.
