§ Mr. Frank Fieldasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if, expressing the tax threshold as 100 in 1955–56, he will measure the increase in the threshold at the latest available date for a single person, married couple and a married couple with two and four children;
(2) if he will express for each year since 1955–56 the tax threshold as a percentage of average earnings for a single person, married couple, married couple with two children and married couple with four children.
