§ 49. Mr. Dicksasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the policy review embodied in the United Nations programme agreed at the recent special session on Africa.
§ Mr. RaisonI welcome the final resolution of the United Nations special session where all concerned agreed to work together for sustained economic development based on realistic policies. The emphasis given to the agricultural sector is particularly encouraging, as is the recognition of the role of the private sector.
