§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThere were 16,395 YTS trainees in Wales at 31 March 1986. It is estimated that 18,407 16-year-olds will enter YTS2 in 1986–87; it is also estimated that 7,857 17-year-olds who complete 1 year YTS places during 1986–87 will take up continuation places. In addition there are 2,952 17-year-old entrants who will be eligible for one year's training.
