§ Mr. HowardMy right hon. Friend makes appointments to many bodies, some of whose activities take place in Wales, and, in consultation with the Welsh Office, to some specifically Welsh bodies such as the Welsh Consumer Council and the transport users consultative committee for Wales. A full list of the bodies to which the Secretary of State has the responsibility for making appointments is contained in the 1985 Edition of "Public Bodies" a copy of which is available in the Library.
