HC Deb 25 July 1986 vol 102 c679W
Sir Eldon Griffiths

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the normal number of copies printed of the daily part of the Official Report; for what reason larger print runs are made; in what circumstances those issues of the daily part of the Official Report which go out of print within less than two months are reprinted; and how often since May 1979 the daily part for any date has been reprinted.

Mr. Brooke

The normal number of copies printed is 4,750. Larger print runs are made if justified by expected demand. Reprints are also made when called for by demand. This has occurred on 16 occasions during the current Session; earlier records are not available.
