(2) if there have been any representations to the Merseyside Development Corporation for the building of a private hospital; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. John Patten[pursuant to his reply, 23 July 1986]: Merseyside Development Corporation has received a number of inquiries about the possibility of leasing land within its designated area for the establishment of private health care facilities. One such scheme incorporates a small private hospital. Negotiations are continuing.
