§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what will be his policy regarding permission given to inmates of open prisons to obtain, through the relevant governors, lists of telephone numbers of doctors or solicitors when payphones are introduced at the end of April.
§ Mr. MellorThe present arrangements by which inmates are provided with names and addresses of solicitors will be extended to cover telephone numbers. Inmates wanting the telephone numbers of doctors will be required to apply to the governor, who may obtain the information for them unless he suspects an improper motive.
