asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the funding of the Ministry of Defence defence arms control unit.

Mr. Stanley

[pursuant to his reply, 12 February 1986, c. 471]: The defence arms control unit is entirely funded by the defence budget. The costs of this unit for the current financial year are estimated at £440,000.
