asked Her Majesty's Government:

When the next Joint Report by the Chairmen of ACARD and ABRC will be presented to Parliament.

The Minister of State, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Lord Belstead)

As announced in Cmnd. 8591, the Government agreed to ask the Chairman of ACARD and ABRC to present periodic joint reports to the Government which would review scientific opportunities and their implications on a selective basis. The first report was published in July 1983 and the Government expect to receive the second report during 1986.
