§ Mr. HurdAs police authority for the metropolis, I have approved estimates which provide for net revenue expenditure by the Metropolitan police of £851.8 million in 1986–87. This is an increase of 10.4 per cent. on the revised cash limit of .771.184 million for 1985–86 which I announced to the House on 30 October 1985, at column562.
