asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is his estimate of the number of British tourists visiting the Canary Islands in each year since 1979.

Based on information provided by the Spanish authorities, the estimated number of British tourists to the Canary Islands for the past four years is:
