§ Mr. David MitchellUnder the Channel fixed link concession agreement, it is for the concessionaires to develop rules for the transport of dangerous goods through the Channel tunnel and to submit these for the approval of the Anglo-French intergovernmental commission. To date, no such proposed rules have been submitted. If and when they are, the safety authority will advise the intergovernmental commission on what categories of dangerous goods should be permitted to travel through the Channel tunnel, in what quantities and under what conditions.
