£ 1980–81 1,846,215 1981–82 3,115,748 1982–83 4,265,553 1983–84 5,086,337 1984–85 4,953,324 1985–86 8,568,179 These amounts, which exclude fees associated with capital contracts, were incurred for a variety of purposes including strategic studies, project area studies, programme development, monitoring and economic services, investment advice, taxation, legal, valuation and property advice.
