§ Mr. John MacKay[pursuant to his reply, 21 April 1986, c. 22]: The information requested is shown in the following table for the latest year for which figures are available. The number of hip replacements includes both total and partial replacements. Total replacements form nearly twice the number of partial and other forms of hip replacements.
