§ Mr. Giles ShawThe police maintain regular contact with all parties involved in the dispute. The most senior officer involved is a deputy assistant commissioner. He last met the senior management of News International on 10 March, Ms. Brenda Dean of SOGAT '82 on 17 March 1986 and Mr. Ron Todd of the TGWU on 20 March.
