§ Mr. ButcherMy Department is taking part in the conference of European posts and telecommunications (CEPT) discussions about the proposed short range radio service in the 900 MHz band. We will consider any recommendations that CEPT may make on such a system on their merits. We are consulting United Kingdom manufacturing and user interests and no decisions have yet been taken.
