§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give for 1979–80 and for 1984–85 the average pay levels for the following categories of National Health Service staff (a) nursing and midwifery, (b) medical and dental, (c) professional and technical, (d) works, (e) maintenance, (f) administrative and clerical and (g) ancillary, expressing the figures for 1984–85 both in money terms and in 1979–80 terms, as deflated by the retail prices index.
