HL Deb 08 April 1986 vol 473 cc187-8WA
Lord Hylton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have replied to the 170 Members of the House of Commons who have raised the possibility of a serious miscarriage of justice concerning members of the Maguire family and offences committed in 1974, and if not, when they expect to do so.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Home Office (Lord Glenarthur)

My right honourable friend the Home Secretary or my honourable friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State have replied, or will be replying shortly, to those Members—some 30 in number—who have written to them on this subject.
