How many persons have been extradited from the Republic of Ireland in the past ten years in connection with terrorist offences.

Lord Glenarthur

The Home Office does not have records of individual cases but I understand that three people have been returned to the United Kingdom from the Republic of Ireland in connection with terrorist offences during the past ten years.

How many warrants for the extradition of persons from the Republic of Ireland in connection with terrorist offences are currently outstanding.

Lord Glenarthur

I understand that 78 warrants for the arrest of 7 persons in connection with terrorist offences have been sent to the Republic of Ireland and are currently unexecuted.
