asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, in preparing his Green Paper on general practitioners' terms of service, he will consider the report of Professor Marinker published by the Office of Health Economics, a copy of which has been sent to him; and if he will make a statement.

We are aware of Professor Marinker's published views and have taken them into account in considering the preparation of the Green Paper on primary health care.
