Mr. Speed

asked the Secretary of State for Trace and Industry when a reply will be sent to Thames Shiprepair Services Ltd.'s letters of 15 October and 15 January last to his Department about job and ship repair opportunities in Kent.

I replied to the letter dated 15 October, on 30 October. My Department has no record of having received a letter from this company dated 15 January. If a copy can be provided I shall, of course, be happy to deal with it promptly.
