§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeIn their reports on the audit of the accounts of health authorities for 1983–84 statutory auditors gave estimates of income uncollected. However, these figures do not cover income in respect of private patients alone. They also include income from other unrelated non-NHS activities and due under the Road Traffic Acts. The estimates were as follows:
