§ Mr. Spearingasked the Prime Minister if she will list the experience and qualifications of Mr. David Williamson and his duties in connection with the Heads of Government working groups of the European Economic Community, together with the amount and source of his remuneration and expenses.
§ The Prime MinisterMr. Williamson is a deputy-secretary in the Cabinet Office. I have appointed him to act as United Kingdom representative on the People's Europe Committee. He receives no remuneration over and above his normal salary. Travel costs are paid from EC funds; his other expenses from the Cabinet Office budget.
