asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is the amount of aid given by Her Majesty's Government to the Philippines in each of the past five years.

Mr. Raison

The total over the past five years, including CDC investments, was £12,133,000. Following are the figures for each year. The total gross disbursements of United Kingdom bilateral aid to the Philippines including CDC investments in each of the calendar years 1979 to 1983 were:
