§ Mr. Wareingasked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many copies of the leaflets, "After the GLC", and, "After the MCCs", have been printed; to whom they have been distributed; and what is the total cost of producing them.
§ Mr. Kenneth Baker5,000 copies of each of the leaflets have been printed. Copies have been sent to all Members of Parliament, the Association of Metropolitan Authorities, the London Boroughs Association, the Association of London Authorities, the press and members of the public in response to requests. The total cost of producing them was £9,600.
In response to the substantial demand for copies, from the authorities themselves and from Members of Parliament, we are printing a further 25,000 copies of "After the GLC" and 40,000 copies of "After the MCCs" at a cost of £3,400.
