§ Mr. Giles ShawOver the last five years we have received a total of 28 inquiries from 14 separate individuals and bodies about progress on the code of guidance for fire safety in houses in multiple occupation. In addition, a number of hon. Members have recently written to my right hon. and learned Friend on this matter and have tabled questions on the subject. It is hoped that a draft code, to form the basis for consultation with interested organisations, will be available in the next few months.
