§ Mr. RifkindThe European Parliament rejected the draft 1985 budget as agreed by the Council on the grounds that it did not cover twelve months of revenue and expenditure. The Council, in forwarding the draft budget to the European Parliament, undertook to meet additional budgetary requirements by 1 October 1985.
