asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what has been the value added tax on a gallon of (a) petrol and (b) diesel in each of the last 10 years; and what has been the total revenue from each source in each of those years.
§ Mr. Fisher
asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if he will specify how the imposition, rate and revenue from value added tax in the United Kingdom differs from each of the other members of the European Community;
(2) if he will list all the representations received against any further extension of value added tax on (a) books, (b) newspapers and periodicals and (c) newspaper advertising.
