asked the Secretary of State for Transport if, before privatising any more publicly owned assets in the transport sector, he will make it a condition of the contract that through booking facilities must be maintained.

No. It would be a matter for the commercial judgment of the transport operators concerned, taking full account of the wishes of their customers.
