§ The Prime MinisterThe co-responsibility levy on milk applies to milk delivered to dairies except in mountain and hill areas listed under the terms of article 3(3) of Directive 75/268/EEC. The levy has not been an effective measure in curtailing the production of milk surpluses and the Government will be arguing for its reduction.
