§ Mr. RidleyMost local highway authorities are now taking cyclists' needs into account in their proposals for the construction of new highways and improvements, or have proposals for specific cycle facilities.

§ Mr. RidleyCycling organisations make representations to us on a variety of road safety matters and we are currently consulting them and other bodies on the wide-ranging issues arising from our "Ways to Safer Cycling" conference earlier this year.
