§ Mr. Wareingasked the Prime Minister, pursuant to her answer of 24 October 1984, Official Report, column 595, if the failure to give the usual advance notice to hon. Members whose constituencies she was visiting involves a permanent change of policy on security grounds or if it will apply only to her visits to Liverpool; if it will apply also to visits made by other Ministers; and if she will make a statement.
§ The Prime MinisterI shall continue to adhere to the normal practice of informing in advance those Members whose constituencies I propose to visit.
Nevertheless, for the reasons to which I referred in my earlier reply to the hon. Member, and which I hope he will appreciate, there may be occasions when this is not possible.
