§ Sir George YoungNo. However, it is the corporation's policy to make land available to local authorities, should they wish to purchase it for building for housing for rent, provided the local authority is able to702W match the corporation's planned development timescale for the site concerned. Such an offer has already been made to the London borough of Newham.
