Whether they will maintain degree courses in art and design at both Canterbury and Maidstone Art Colleges.

The Committee of the National Advisory Body for Local Authority Higher Education will meet on 29th October to consider recommendations made by the NAB Board concerning degree course provision at Maidstone and Canterbury Colleges of Art. The committee will, in due course, advise my right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science, with whom the final decision rests.
