Mr. Proctor

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will set out in the Official Report the level of exports to the United States of America from (a) the United Kingdom and (b) each of the countries of the European Economic Community in each of the last five years; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Channon

The figures, in both national currencies and United States dollars, are in the table. They show substantial increases in exports to the United States both by the United Kingdom and comparable countries in the Community.
