§ The Prime MinisterI have asked my noble Friend to give immediate attention to a number of areas in pursuing his remit to promote policies for the growth of enterprise and the creation of jobs. These areas are policy towards small firms, measures to increase competition, the reduction of controls and regulations and the co-ordination of policies to promote the education, training and employment of 14 to 18-year-olds. My hon. Friend will also pursue other matters within his general remit either at my request or on his own initiative.
