I undertook to give you a specific reply after having checked this point.During the Falklands conflict, the Flag Officer Submarines, in accordance with the Queen's Regulations for the Royal Navy, kept a "War Diary" recording policy, planning, and events to facilitate subsequent official analysis of the campaign. This diary is classified. It gives details of all important signals sent between Flag Officer Submarines and the submarines involved in the conflict, including the time of despatch and a synopsis of the contents of each.Yours sincerely,
