§ Mr. Foulkes
asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) if the Flag Officer Submarines' war diary for the Falklands war has now been seen by any officials in his Department;
(2) when the Flag Officer Submarines' war diary for the Falklands war was compiled.

§ Mr. Stanley
The "War Diary" for the Falklands conflict of Flag Officer Submarines was compiled from records kept during the Campaign and submitted to the Commander-in-Chief Fleet and the Ministry of Defence in early November 1982. Copies have been available to officials in the Ministry since then.
