Mr. Tony Banks

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what was the percentage increase in the contributions of the cities of London and Westminster to the London rate equalisation scheme between the years 1980–81 to 1984–85.

The 1980–81 scheme was the last under the old rate support grant system and is therefore not comparable with the 1984–85 scheme.
