§ 65. Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the chief constable for Salop about the conduct of the police investigation into the death of Miss Hilda Murrell; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Giles ShawI understand from the chief constable of West Mercia constabulary that an investigation into Miss Murrell's death began on 24 March 1984 and is continuing. An inquest is expected to take place next month.
