HC Deb 22 November 1984 vol 68 c275W
Sir Peter Mills

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if the figure of £100 million is the final amount the Government require from the sale of Forestry Commission assets.

Mr. John MacKay

The figure of £100 million is not a target imposed by the Government, but is the Forestry Commission's estimate of the total amount they expect to receive from the sale of assets during the eight year period to 31 March 1989. The question of sales by the Commission will be reviewed in a few years' time.
