§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will indicate those London boroughs which in 1984–85 had their score on the general needs index used to make housing investment programme allocations to individual authorities increased to reflect inner city problems in their areas.
§ Sir George YoungThose designated under the urban programme, that is, Brent, Ealing, Greenwich, Hackney, Hammersmith and Fulham, Haringey, Islington, Lambeth, Lewisham, Newham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Wandsworth. The generalised needs index also includes scores for inner city problems such as overcrowding, households sharing accommodation, homelessness and dwellings in poor condition.
