Mr. Mudd

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will publish in the Official Report, for each local authority in England, the following information from their transport policies and programmes submissions: (a) expenditure bid for 1984–85, (b) accepted expenditure for 1984–85, (c) latest forecast of outturn expenditure for 1984–85, and (d) expenditure bid for 1985–86 for (i) highway capital expenditure (distinguishing for 1985–86 that part of bid which will be eligible for transport supplementary grant), (ii) public transport capital expenditure, (iii) highway maintenance expenditure, and (iv) public transport revenue support expenditure, showing in each case the total for England as a whole.
