§ Mr. Corbettasked the Secretary of State for Transport what present plans he has for lighting those sections of the M1 and M6 motorways currently unlit; and whether he will estimate the cost of providing full lighting along the complete lengths of these routes.
§ Mrs. ChalkerLighting is planned to be installed on the M1 between Newport Pagnell service area and junction 16.
The estimated cost of providing lighting on the unlit lengths of the M1 and M6 motorways would .be approximately £9 million and £13.5 million, respectively, at 1982–83 prices.
