§ Mr. Giles ShawSince the inception in 1968 of breath testing as a means of detecting alcohol in the body of a 207W motorist the following road side breath screening devices (hand held) have been, and remain, approved for use by police forces in England and Wales:

- The Lion Breath Simulator and Lion Intoximeter 3000.
Instruments for use in Scotland and Northern Ireland are a matter for my right hon. Friends the respective Secretaries of State.
