asked the Secretary of State for Wales how much money has been spent on improvements to the A483 in Wales since 1974; how much is earmarked for this purpose for each of the next three years; and how many miles have been improved since 1974.

A number of small improvement schemes have been undertaken on the A483 in Wales but details of the length improved since 1 April 1974 are not readily available. In this period more than £9 million cash has been spent on improvements and preparation work for future schemes. forecast expenditure on major schemes in the next three years is estimated at:
