asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have yet released the £28 million earmarked for the initial costs of establishing a commercial ship repair yard in Gibraltar.

We have notified the Governor that the £28 million is now available for disbursement. The continuing flow of this aid will depend upon the maintenance of acceptable working practices.
