HC Deb 22 May 1984 vol 60 c382W
Mr. Allan Roberts

asked the Secretary of State for Transport under what circumstances vehicles or trailers from the Soviet Union are allowed to transport nuclear radioactive material through Great Britain.

Mr. Ridley

I have no reason to believe that vehicles or trailers from the Soviet Union are being used in this country to transport nuclear radioactive material. Vehicles and trailers must in any event comply with the appropriate regulations irrespective of their country of origin.
