§ Mr. Barry Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the 1980 and 1984 allocations of finance from the European Social Fund towards the cost of training and employment for those aged under 25 years in Wales, on a county basis.
§ Mr. Gummer[pursuant to his reply, 15 May 1984, c. 153]: The United Kingdom benefits considerably from the European Social Fund, the greatest part of allocations being made in respect of national programmes of training and employment. The total allocations from the fund for the training and employment of young people from 1980 to 1983 were:

Allocations from the Fund for 1984 have yet to be announced by the Commission. This announcement is not expected before mid-July.
